Some of Chinese local foods

Hi everybody, today I'm going to introduce some of Chinese local foods and all the information comes from my Chinese friends. I will also share a video of them on my Youtube. If you interested in, don't forget to check my Video~~

Shane is from the famous city WuHan. He loves hot dry noodles. It is the Han characteristics snacks in WuHan, HuBei province, originally it is a feature of WuHan food. It is very popular in many parts of HuBei province. The hot dry noodles are slender, tough and really chewy. It has yellow color and oil moisten, also the delicious taste. People usually mix the noodles with sesame oil, sesame, spiced pickles and other ingredients.



Sour soup fish is TT's favorite. She is a girl came from GuiZhou Province. Sour soup fish is a traditional Miao nationality unique food, it has a delicious sour taste. It has a hot strength, and can help you to have a bigger appetite. Miao people add a lot of local nutritious herbs in the soup, then add the tomato sour soup, bring out the natural sour taste. Then put the clean live fish into hot pot.The good sour soup should be white with sour flavor, but also have tomatoes red sour soup and it taste more perfect.



KK comes from DongBei Province, China. She loves hot candied sweet potato. It is a delicious Han traditional dish; it belongs to the DongBei Province cuisine. The sweet potatoes need to be the same size, golden color. It has a sweet smell, sweet taste and really crisp. Almost all the children love it.  It’s really hard to cook candied sweet potato perfectly. The amount of sugar is actually very fastidious, and the time of cooking is really important too. If the time of cooking is not long enough, we can't pull out the candy silk. If the time is too long, it will become paste and it will has the bitter taste.



Spicy Fried clams is Qingdao people’s love. I came from QingDao, and spicy fried clams is my love. The fresh clams are not really big but fat and juicy. It’s really suitable for wine. There are some tips for cooking clams.In order to clean clam's sediments. We also can put a little bit salt in the water, so the clams can spit sediments faster. When you cook the clams, just need to put a little bit salt because the clams have the salty and umami tastes already. Don’t stir clams too frequently during cooking, we need to make clams have enough time to absorb heat from the bottom of the pot.
